I thought about doing the leg lengthening surgery.
hell no. never.
*runs away screaming*
To look like that? no
Nah. I make what I've got work !
Yucky.
I don't need it, my body is perfect in every way. And im not being sarcastic. Bahahaa. Im one of the lucky ones.
i honestly don't think i could love myself if part of me was fake...of course i have a few things i don't like, but i don't want to look perfect. it's creepy.
the only way i could get plastic surgery is after being in a freak accident or something that left me disfigured.
heck no
that can't be real....... poor baby.
sure. i'd do it. why not? decrease my boobs a little, knock out a few ribs, even out my little eye. ^_^
that is scary! I'd like to do my nose but on second thought...Nah!!! I'm good
OMG. LOL. That is bad!! There are def some things that I don't like about my body.....but I have two kids, so the risk isn't worth it to me. I don't want to die because of some stupid complication to plastic surgery. I can just hear my husband telling my kids now.... "Mommy died because she wanted to look better." ha. Not happening to me!
Ok...THAT is drastic plastic....
I'm not against it as long as you do it for the right reasons. Plastic surgery is REAL surgery with doctors, pain meds & complications. It's not a quick fix, nor is it cheap or for everyone. In another post, I said that patients should get a psych evaluation to make sure they're not rushing into this or doing it on a whim. Another commented who replied to me said imperfections are often in peoples heads & it's true. So many have surgery young or end up regretting it. Then they fix it or undo it. Time changes alot of things, so I think having surgery before 25 is too young. I'm 23 & I dont look alot different than I did in high school. Patience is a virtue in alot of things, including body issues.
So "Rocky Dennis" is a style now. And I thought fashion had hit rock bottom when "Derelicte" became a real thing.
That's just creepy.
Fuck no. I don't care if I was the ugliest woman God ever made, I would not get plastic surgery just to look better. No amount of plastic surgery can really make you feel better about yourself. Really loving yourself comes from the heart, loving who you are because you are a creation of God intended for a specific and special purpose. We are wonderfully and fearfully made! And how God feels about me is what matters
no way. It would feel weird to have something different than the face I have now.
@Alyxandri - ^^ I wish I could stake claim on the term but I cant. I heard it a few years ago as a term for people who've done extreme plastic surgeries, like the women in the picture. She was never satisfied & ruined herself for life. There are others who have a procedure (or even a few) done & the results look natural.
That isnt one of them...
NOooo! I think if people just invest 10% of the money they spend on surgeries in skin creams, avoid sun and smoking (aka taking care of themselves), they will be beautiful for life! Plastic surgeries can go wrong, but even if they don't, it always seems like there's an aging point where it begins to look awful because the face is aging but the fake can't.
its about how you view your own self
Judging by this picture -- no.
No.
It depends. For vanity reasons, then no, but in the cases of birth defects or a car accident (or things like this) where a person's face has been ripped off (I personally know 2 people who have had this happened to them and with plastic surgery one would NEVER guess), then I can understand why a person would use plastic surgery.
No, surgey is serious, i wouldnt do it for looks. Plus, i really cant justify spending that kind of money on it. The only circumstances i would consider it is if i was in some freak accident that totally messed me up. otherswise, no sir.
what kind of plastic surgery:)
No way.
That lady had Body Dysmorphic Disorder ! She was my friends case study for Psychology. It's really sad, coz she was very pretty before all her surgeries.
I agree with Southeast_Beauty!
well, if she got her chin and lips smaller, she wouldnt look as horrible...
@Shinbi_Belldandy - Yeah, I definitely don't think minor jobs are a problem. If you are unhappy with something about yourself, then there is nothing wrong with changing it, in my opinion. But when someone goes to have plastic surgery done again and again and again then there is probably some kind of psychological issue going on.
Ewwww...Is that a man?
The only reason she looks like that is because her husband severely liked cats so she started to get plastic surgery to look like one. Weird I know, but needless to say he divorced her soon after.
Yes, I'd have plastic surgery, I'm pretty ugly.
Only if what you're having plastic surgery for drastically interferes with your quality of life. For reasons like, having a nose job for a deviated septum, birth defects, burns, having a drooping eyelid that hinders your vision, etc it is worth the risk.
Not unless it was reconstruction after an accident!
@Southeast_Beauty - I agree. If it's something that may limit you from doing a regular activity, or something that may help you live longer; then I would go with it. If it's for random use, I would not recommend it.
ummmmm yes. but not to a crazy extent. i'm getting my boobays done.
I think not! lol
(I will be getting surgery on my nose, but it's constructive; I have a deviated septum after being elbowed in my nose by my brother then having my flyer's butt fall on my face the next day!) Talk about bad luck, huh? lol
i would never have plastic surgery unless something happened (i.e. car crash) and i needed reconstructive plastic surgery. but i don't really consider it the same thing.
I would never do it unless I really need it. Anyone who does not need plastic surgery, but gets it anyways just show they are really insecure. How I see it you'll look good now with plastic surgery, but you'll look nasty when you are older. Plastic surgery equals not sexy.
My friends always make fun of me because my boobs are like, 32B, and they're all D-DD's. Eh, I don't think I'd do it. I run too much to have big boobs.
I hate the side of my face. I hate the way I look from side, I'll definately get surgery to try to look better than I do now. But I wouldn't overdo it.
nope
what the fuck is that shit?! ew! not to be judgmental but christ, sometimes people that do these things to their bodies need to realize that when you're dead, nobody is going to give a crap about how you looked physically. i would never do it myself not just because it's dumb, but it's dangerous and it takes away you're individuality. following dumbass people trying to perfect themselves for another group of people is shit.
another group of people on my list of "must be crucified and rolled down a hill" mean, i know.
I wouldn't do it and she did it for her then husband who was cheating on her. Her name is Jocelyn aka Lion Woman. I think one should accept oneself.
If you've been in an accident or burned and become disfigured, then it is. If you just want to erase the crow's feet around your eyes, it's not. I've had plastic surgery. I don't regret it. (I had another surgery before to fix a medical problem, and the plastic surgery was to make me look normal again)
She was obsessed with plastic surgery. There are alot of people who come out looking better with plastic surgery. I would get plastic surgery though. I'm not against the idea of it.
That is just sad.
She looks like a lion.
ew... no.
I'll always joke about it... but I had a friend in the business of boob enhancement, both my mom and aunt have gone through boob surgery, and it just hasn't been fun. No thanks.
However, I wouldn't mind finding a way out of my stretch mark situation. Not by going under a knife though.
Oh hell no.
Jocelyn Wildenstein - (Catwoman)
She wanted to look like that. Why not? Its her life and her money...
I would do something different than that...
that would be a no times infinity for me.
it's not a necessity to look good or be accepted by the world for being omghawt so I'll pass. waste of money heh
Gott in Himmel. I'm gonna sleep with the lights on tonight
more needs to be known. Is this obsesssion, or a single procedure that went to hell?
i worked in the o.r. for 30 years. I knew who the good doc's were. my cousin had a breast reduction & she's fine.
NEVER EVER!
I thought about it. Like seriously. Get some lipo, fix my nose. But it's hard to find surgeons who are good with African-American rhinoplasty. And the percentage of issues with lipo scare me. So I'd rather run a few miles a day and keep my wide nose than to risk it. Or, get so hooked on it that I can't stop nipping and tucking. I know all ppl who get surgeries aren't like that, though. But a lot are. That's what I am afraid of. What if one ends up not being enough? I don't even wanna go there.
She terrifies me!
And no, I'd never do it.
I would.
If I had money. And a plane ticket to another country. I really want to be skinny.I don't think I'd like myself any more than I already do (haha which is, like, not at all,) but....it'd be cool.I guess. And, I'd want smaller arms. And legs. And hips. And better boobs. But, not boobs that looked super fake.Like, a tiny implant to make sure they're just... better. >.

Not until you're old.
...no.
*looks at pic* WTF?
I'd have it done.
I really don't like how I look.
I thought about doing the leg lengthening surgery.

@sayyruhhh - You look pretty good
well...she did WANT to look like that...so...I'd take that risk!
i won't even take cold medicine. western technology is evil.
plastic surgery, not likely...but laser hair removal? yes please :] shaving/waxing is a pain lol
omg no way thats awful is that a real picture
I am beautiful in the skin I'm in! ;D
Everyone is, they just have to learn what compliments them best.
Depends on what context. If you've got a birth defect or any other medical condition in which plastic surgery would be of help, then it's fine.
But that picture, up there, is an example of obsession gone wrong.
Oh hell no!
honestly, I could probably change just about everything about myself. but I wont.
@Shinbi_Belldandy - haha, "drastic plastic"
yes, for medical purposes
So "Rocky Dennis" is a style now. And I thought fashion had hit rock bottom when "Derelicte" became a real thing.
