That is the French Ballet Fish, otherwise known as Pas de deux.

They the worlds largest freshwater fish, and in the family Osteoglossidae, osteo being the prefix referring to the fact that they have bones. They date back pretty far- records going back to the late cretaceous period. They're pretty cool, they have a lot of unique adaptations.
Although, I can't tell you what that weird deformation on the one shown is. It seems as if it's gills were exposed, but I can't say that for sure.
Upon further research, it could be a species of Aro called the Lionhead Arowana.
