Do You Facebook?
As some of you may know, I’m leaving Xanga after this week. I don’t often have the opportunity to interact with my friends here because of physical limitations, but Facebook seems to be much easier, which is great. So if any of you want to keep in contact with me, feel free to add me:

I have a facebook but I seldom use it. My family is scattered all over the world so for us it's just a place for family to keep in touch. It's not high on my list of things I like to do.
I do, but not as often as I Xanga. Anyway- I'm glad you're on Facebook too.
I try not to facebook as I'm building its competition.
Not so much, but I'm on there. It doesn't really seem conducive to writing in detail.
I hate facebook. Seriously. The interface is hideous and the only thing the few people I've connected with on there want is for me to build a stupid fucking virtual farm. I don't even bother to log on there any more.

Facebook is an addictive drug; WHY RICKY. WHY
I do! But I hate having people on my facebook that I don't know. or that don't talk to me.
I have only ONE facebook friend I don't know in person. It's Matt from Xanga. When (if) you leave Xanga I'll request you and have 2. But don't leave. OR don't hesitate to come back if you do leave Xanga and then decide it was a bad decision.

You should probably do Blogger or something. Facebook's cool for socializing and networking, but not blogging. I'll look you up though.

I do like Facebook, though photos show up better on xanga in the nice blog and page that one can make beautiful, but it only time in space =)
I work with adults with developmental disabilities and physical handicaps as well, and have been in the field for many years.
I can identify with some of what you deal with in dealing with ignorance. I am glad for your sense of humor and that your parents are so willing to help you too!
Facebook is good in that you can set privacy controls as you wish. It takes time to learn to use it, but it is fun.
Oh and for the person who was offended by Farmville... I also think it is a waste of time, so I click "HIDE" at top right of that entry, then a pop-up appears
asking if you want to hide only farmville or the person too.
I sometimes hide a person if all they do is farmville, and sometimes hide a company if they advertise too much.

I hate Facebook. The world revolves way too much around it. It irks me to see Facebook references scattered all over other websites now.

FAcebook could be beneficial if you have it as a preliminary connecting platform .

I use Facebook frequently. Most of my family decided to use it about a year or so ago, so I decided to get an account. It's worked out pretty well. (=
