Last night, I received a comment from ctaretz (Xanga Thief: DIMWIT) that wrote: “Wow, I want you on my side in a fight! What the fuck dude you went postal. LOL! I like it!!!”
This made me laugh because I really did rip him a new asshole. It was hilarious while I edited his online dating profile, which is something a lot of people here don’t understand. Because of writing in capital letters, they somehow think I’m angry. They don’t understand that I continue to crack up all the way through. I love making a fool of people with a little logic and common sense.
And even funnier is the fact that I’m constantly getting accused of starting drama. If you haven’t seen the trend of people starting shit with me, then I don’t know what to tell you. It’s usually the other way around. I write. They get upset and talk smack about me. I respond (depending on if it serves any entertainment value for me of course, while I also like to write for practice). Some are beyond stupid and worthless.
The only times I can think of that I’m directly linked to starting drama was when EternalImplosion was falsely accused of being a racist by ISpeakLife for merely acknowledging race (Scary Black People, EXPOSED), when Yosho blamed the 37,460 reported rapes of Caucasian girls and women on the victims because according to him, White girls are the sexual preference and have big mouths (37,460 White Females, RAPED), and when rainbowbrite2200 was getting decimated for writing against rape fantasies (Rape Fantasies Are For Rape Lovers). I only start it in defence of the innocent. I don’t “retaliate” to personal attacks unless it has the potential of making the culprit look even stupider.
As of recently, I’ve had namely two people using my name in vain:
cmclymer turned out to be a creepy little lying pervert (Dear Stupid, This One’s For You (UPDATED)) after I exposed him for writing about me because I declined to recommend his post asking girls and women to fill out a form that would give out their name, age, location, etc. He later deleted my “intervention”. Hilarious.
DiaryOfAPsychopath still claims that I’m a plagiarist despite being given solid evidence proving my innocence (I’m Too Good For Plagiarism). I’m not about to beat a dead horse, but unfortunately, some people still choose to remain blind, even with comment dates that are impossible to manipulate and comments that were in line with the original entry. For the record, I never once made a personal attack on her.
I find it amusing how there are those who claim to “hate” me. I mean get a life. This is just the Internet! I can honestly say I don’t hate anyone on here. It’s the dumbest thing in the world. If these hypocrites hate me so much, why do they keep obsessing about me?
Also, probably 25% of the regulars have already blocked me. I wish I had a million dollars every time I read, “Sorry, the page you requested was not found.” No, I don’t want a nickel because I strive to be a billionaire!
Please haters, for your own sake. Let go of me. I know you love me and want my name to get you famous and in with the Ricky Elite Hate Team, but until you let yourself let go, you’ll never get over me. (:
But accountability is another thing. Although dimwit entertainment is important, I always pick and choose whose toes I run over. I’m not merciless. I don’t pick on stupid people who are emotionally or mentally compromised because even when I’m the first asshole in a wheelchair, I don’t want to be on the news as the wheelchair suicide inducer. Ha!
Yes, this drama business might be better than television, but not many has what it takes to be DearRicky. It might be a trend to bash me on a weekly basis, but others might not be able to handle the constant harassment. I’m Batman. I can take it. Cyberbullying however is real, and do you really want blood on your hands?
Take for example when CiaoBella810 talked about how I needed to be dealt with by means of torture and dismemberment (Dear Xanga, I Was Threatened). How about when MomGoneMadd talked about raping me (Is Rape Funny To You?)? How about when dikdoktor threatened me for real yesterday when he claims to know where I live and want to pay me a visit? This is coming from a guy who has threatened to throw my wheelchair and I down the stairs if he ever saw me.
From The State of the Rickens Address:
He elaborated further in a now deleted entry, which can be found in the link below (he apparently lives eighty kilometres away from me):
I contacted the authorities immediately after.
However, I do sympathize with dikdoktor in a way. He has been obsessing about me for quite a while now, even when I’ve never blogged about him before. He has a lot of health and emotional issues and I feel sorry for the guy. He did apologize to his readers for his drunken behaviour in writing this morning (MY APOLOGY?), and I’m considering dropping the case if he stays away from me.
dikdoktor: If you’re reading, I’d advise you to drop it. If you don’t like me, keep away. I hope you get better in any case.
A lot of times, DearRicky drama happens when people disagree with me, which is even more ridiculous than yours truly because after only one disagreement, they become a hater right away. What?! The real question is how can I not be amused? It reminds me of when I used to watch wrestling because many of my readers have turned heel. So silly.
Remember Dear Mr. President, You Socialist Swine!? People got really upset with me. Why? Because they didn’t read all the way through to find out I was in fact doing a satire on pubic hair. In it, I wrote on “private sectors”, “letting them go down the drain”, “to those you use as a covering”, “bush” (lower case), “these roots of life”, etc. I tried to make it as short as possible, but still, people got offended because they didn’t read the last sentence, which will probably happen again here.
Reader, do you feel people should be held accountable for what they write online? Why or why not? How about when drunk?
